Glass Casting and Moldmaking: Glass Fusing Book Three, by
Boyce Lundstrom. Contains chapers on: Pate de verre, lost wax casting,

The two methods of glass processing, pate de verre and casting, have
become increasingly popular in recent years. Yet these two methods
of working glass are older than glass blowing and date back to 300
B.C. Manufacturers and suppliers are throwing these buzz words around
a lot too. I am asked by a supplier if pate de verre can be fired
in a top fired fusing kiln or is it necessary to use a side fire one,
or whether I know of a casting material that will take higher temperatures
than plaster-silica mix. In this book all these and more processes
are discussed in detail.
